Buckeye Stargazer Scope Fans for Celestron Edge SCTs
Buckeye Stargazer has designed scope fans for the Celestron EDGE telescopes, to aid in cool-down and thermal stability as temperatures drop.
Featuring Noctua fans that are mostly silent and have almost no discernible vibration, the fan enclosure utilizes the wire mesh filter in the EDGE vents and simply bolts onto the scope using the existing threaded vent holes.
The enclosure has a 5.5mm/2.1mm female barrel connector which is commonly used on popular powerbox distribution boxes. The fans can be powered by any 12v source, and can be controlled (on/off) with a powerbox controller.
The Primary fan enclosure (forces air into the scope) also has a 3pin fan cable port for connecting the Secondary fan enclosure (pulls air out of the scope), and is connected by the included 3pin fan extension cable.
Important note: The ZWO metal EAF SCT bracket interferes with the placement of these scope fans on the C8 and C9.25 (tested) and possibly on the C11 and C14 (untested). The Buckeye Stargazer EAF mounting brackets do not have this issue.
